About Foodservice Markets

Onsite Liquidation Markets

Foodservice Markets specializes in the onsite liquidation of foodservice establishments, handling the entire process directly at the location. We invite our trusted network of buyers to visit the site and select equipment in person, ensuring maximum transparency and faster sales. We manage all aspects of the liquidation and charge a 25% commission on total sales.

Offsite Liquidation Markets

Foodservice Markets offers offsite liquidation services for foodservice establishments, relocating equipment to our facility for streamlined sales. We then invite our network of qualified buyers to inspect and purchase items directly from our location. This hassle-free solution allows sellers to clear their space quickly while we handle all logistics and sales efforts. A 50% commission is charged on total sales.

Restaurant Equipment Repair, Service, and Parts

Foodservice Markets is a trusted service provider in the Bay Area, specializing in restaurant equipment repair, service, and parts.

As a family-owned company, we’re committed to doing the right thing and keeping our customers’ best interests first. Our skilled technicians deliver fast, reliable, and personalized service at competitive prices.

Foodservice Closures, Remodels, and Asset Recovery

At Foodservice Markets, we partner with restaurants to navigate facility changes such as closures and remodels, streamline equipment redeployment, and maximize value through the liquidation of surplus assets. From equipment and furniture to fixtures, inventory, smallwares, and supplies, we provide a seamless solution tailored to your needs.

Foodservice Markets

Turning Foodservice Closures Into Opportunities

Restaurant closures are a reality in our industry. Many locations were already under review before the economic challenges of 2020 accelerated the process.

Now is the time to take action — recover value and extract assets for future use or sale.

With nationwide coverage, Foodservice Markets is prepared to manage the process quickly and efficiently. Whether it’s a single location or a national chain, we handle projects across the U.S. and Canada.

A Complete Solution: We coordinate every step to systematically recover assets, unlock value, and reduce costs across furniture, fixtures, and equipment.

Foodservice Asset Liquidation

Unlock immediate cash flow by selling surplus equipment, furniture, fixtures, and inventory (FF&E) from closed or storage locations.

Demand in the after-market is stronger than ever, with buyer activity surging as operators seek affordable solutions during these unprecedented times.

Savvy operators recognize the opportunity — now is the time to monetize idle assets.

Foodservice Markets manages the entire process: logistics, pricing, sales, collections, shipping, and, most importantly, remittance of proceeds.

When speed matters, we deliver. Our team can mobilize within hours to address location challenges and maximize value.

Foodservice Markets

Foodservice Equipment Redeployment

When a location closes or undergoes renovation, valuable equipment shouldn’t go to waste—it should be repurposed. Our redeployment program ensures that no asset is left behind.

Ongoing operations often require replacement equipment, and expansion projects need additional resources. Redeployment provides a structured, efficient process for extracting, consolidating, and reusing assets across your network.

Instead of dealing with the cost and complexity of storage facilities or warehouses, we streamline the process. All equipment is consolidated at one of our facilities—including our 35,000-square-foot warehouse in the Bay Area—where it can be redeployed within days.

This approach not only saves time and reduces costs, it also supports sustainability by extending the lifecycle of your equipment, minimizing waste, and reducing the need for unnecessary new purchases.

Selling & Liquidating

Protocol for Foodservice Establishments

At Foodservice Markets, we streamline the process of selling and liquidating equipment for foodservice establishments with transparency, efficiency, and maximum exposure to qualified buyers. Here’s how our process works:

1. Create an Itemized Inventory List

We begin by cataloging all equipment, gathering detailed information on each item to ensure buyers have full visibility.

Details Included:

• Item Name

• Model/Serial Number

• Dimensions

• Quantity

• Item Description/Features

• Asking Price

• Final Sale Price

• Item Status

• Manufacturer or Retailer URL

• Google Photo URL

• Item Location

• Notes (e.g., accessories, wear, etc.)

All data is documented in a centralized Google Sheet for easy updating and sharing.

2. Organize Photos in a Central Location

• Capture clear, high-resolution images of each item from multiple angles.

• Upload to a shared Google Photos Album or Google Drive folder.

• Match photo captions or file names to items in the inventory list.

• Link images directly within the Google Sheet for seamless reference.

3. Set Up a Shareable Inventory

• The Google Sheet serves as a live, centralized catalog of all available items.

• A view-only shareable link is created to ensure accuracy while giving buyers easy access.

4. Advertise the Sale

We promote your inventory to a broad audience of industry buyers through:

• Facebook Marketplace

• Craigslist

• eBay

• Specialized foodservice forums and buyer groups

Each ad includes:

• A brief overview of the liquidation

• A link to the live inventory list

• Contact details for inquiries

5. Buyer Engagement and Sale Management

• We coordinate buyer visits to either the onsite or offsite location for equipment inspection and selection.

• Pickup dates and logistics are organized directly with buyers.

• Transactions are handled professionally and efficiently.

6. Post-Sale Inventory Updates

• Inventory is updated regularly to reflect sold items.

• Remaining items continue to be marketed until liquidation is complete.

Onsite vs. Offsite Liquidation

• Onsite Sales: Equipment remains at your location, and buyers come to you. We charge a 25% commission for onsite liquidation.

• Offsite Sales: We relocate your equipment to our facility and manage all logistics. Due to the added cost of handling and transportation, we charge a 50% commission for offsite liquidation.

Why Foodservice Markets?

We make liquidating your foodservice equipment easy by:

• Creating a centralized, shareable sales resource

• Marketing your equipment to our established buyer network

• Handling all communication, logistics, and updates from start to finish
